Who We Support
QRC is a CQC approved rehabilitation centre specialising in Acquired and Traumatic Brain Injury. Our support team are trained in order to maximise efficiency, reliability, and effectiveness of individuals care needs and packages in order for your stay to be relaxing and trouble free.
Valley View Barn is a Rehabilitation Care Centre, it was purpose-built and set in 2 acres of landscaped grounds, 8 miles north of Eastbourne and 15 miles south of Royal Tunbridge Wells. It is situated in Horam, East Sussex. We offer Rehabilitation & Respite Care for adults of 18 years and over.
Valley View Barn is designed specifically to be mobility friendly and has a relaxed atmosphere. Disabled and wheelchair users are welcome. Four of the eight rooms are designed to cater for wheelchair dependant users with adapted bathroom facilities.
Unlike the standard rehabilitation centers and care homes, Valley View Barn is a sympathetically converted barn and stables set on one level. All doors are above minimum standard width with low thresholds for easy access to all areas, both inside and out. Valley View Barn is set in the countryside and benefits from outstanding beauty and surrounded by valley views of Sussex. We have a dedicated Physiotherapy team who will support you with your rehabilitation needs, working alongside other professionals to create a support services specifically tailored to you and with you.
Valley View Barn has been designed to cater for a multitude of disabilities, with 24 hour care including home cooked fresh meals, catering for individual tastes and requirements. Our support team is trained and on hand to assist you in ways in which you require, leaving you to enjoy the independence that a dedicated rehabilitation centre can offer.
Being approved by the Care Quality Commission brings a confidence and ability to ensure your stay is both enjoyable and stimulating. It offers more than an adapted care home or residential home. This beautifully converted barn and stables has 8 bedrooms, each room with its own fully equipped en-suite wet room, call alarm, TV/DVD, and patio door to a private terrace area. A glass covered walkway leads to the old barn, lounge and dining area.
